Our home at 2 Derry Hill has an adjoining two bedroom apartment accessed by its own private entry door down a pathway at the side of our house. The apartment is situated so that our guests have complete privacy from our home, however if you would like any help or sightseeing suggestions, then we are just a door away and more than happy to be of assistance. We enjoy meeting new people and would be delighted to help you!

The 2 Derry Hill apartment consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and living/dining room. The two bedrooms have restful views of our garden and the hills around Churton Park. There is a queen bed in one bedroom, and a bunk bed in the other room. This second bedroom also has a desk and study area.

The living area consists of an open plan lounge, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. The lounge has a 32" TV with DVD player and a choice of DVDs from our home library. WIFI is provided free of charge.

The kitchen has an electric stove, microwave, fridge freezer, espresso machine, milkshake maker, electric kettle, toaster and a full set of cooking equipment as well as coffee, tea, sugar and milk provided. While it is set up for you to cater for yourself, we can provide breakfast if you would like (a charge applies) please feel free to enquire.

With central heating and ventilation, our home is warm, dry and comfortable all year round. We mention this because many guests to New Zealand are not aware that central heating is rare in New Zealand homes, and as a result many NZ houses can be quite cold and damp, even in summer.

Having traveled extensively, we aim to anticipate and provide for not only our guest's needs, but also for their wants. So please don't hesitate to ask us if you have any special requirements!
