We offer boutique accommodation in the form of a very comfortable and convenient apartment in New Zealand's capital city, Wellington. Our aim is to provide you with a home away from home in a beautiful, relaxed and quiet environment.

Our home at 2 Derry Hill is a 3 bedroom house (where we live) with an adjoining separate and private 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment is accessed either through an adjoining locked door to our home, or by its own private entry door down a pathway at the side of our house. The apartment is situated so our guests have complete privacy from our adjoining home, however if you would like any help or sightseeing suggestions, then we are more than happy to be of assistance. We enjoy meeting new people and would be delighted to help you with suggestions of what to visit and where!

Our apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and living/dining room. The two bedrooms have restful views of our garden and the hills around Churton Park. There is a queen bed in one bedroom, and 2 single beds (currently set up as bunk beds) in the other room. This second bedroom also has a desk and study area.

The living area consists of an open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The lounge has a 32" TV with DVD player and a choice of DVDs from our home library. WIFI is provided free of charge.

The kitchen has an electric stove, microwave, fridge freezer, espresso machine, milkshake maker, electric kettle, toaster and a full set of cooking equipment as well as coffee, tea, sugar and milk provided.

The kitchen is set up for you to cater for yourself, so breakfast isn't included in the price. However, we can provide breakfast if you would like, so please feel free to enquire. There is a supermarket within five minutes walk (less than a minute’s drive).

With central heating and ventillation, our house is warm, dry and comfortable all year round. We mention this because many guests to New Zealand are not aware that central heating is rare in New Zealand homes, and as a result many NZ houses are quite cold and damp, even in summer.

Having travelled extensively ourselves, we aim to anticipate and provide for not only our guest's needs, but also for their wants. So please don't hesitate to ask us if you have any special requirements!
